Sydney Rose Schmieder is a New York City based Actress, Singer & Dancer with experience in Theatre & Film. In addition to her work as a performer, Sydney is a teaching artist specializing in Voice & Theatre.

Sydney Rose Schmieder is a recent graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she trained in the department of Drama to earn her B.F.A in Theatre. Since then, Sydney has been working on a variety of projects as both performer and non-performer. Her most recent credits include Moon Phase Theatrical’s Main Stage debut of Carrie: The Musical, where she played Helen and served as the Dance Captain, as well as Puck in Rockaway Theatre Company’s production of Shakespeare in Hollywood. Sydney is also a songwriter. She has been writing music since she was 14 years old. Her debut song, "Snowflakes,” will be released in Michael Eoin- Stanney’s upcoming short film, Threat, which has received finalist nominations in the New York International Film Festival and the Oniros Film Awards.
